Club Meetings & Outings
We host top walleye personalities & tour professionals to speak at club meetings. Meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of the month with the exception of a potential holiday conflict. Club socializing starts at 6:30 pm and the monthly presentation's start at 7:00 pm. We do not Meet in June, July or August. We also host club outings throughout the year to gather and have fun.
Two-Time NWT Tour Champion Tom Huynh

Join us for an engaging evening with two-time NWT Champion, Tom Huynh, who will be joining TCWU as our guest speaker. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM, and feel free to arrive early to chat about fishing with fellow club members.
Tom won the very first Walleye tournament he ever competed in and has continued to achieve remarkable success on tour, earning numerous top finishes in both AIM and NWT events. In 2021, he secured 2nd place at the NWT Championship on Otter Tail Lake, followed by a victory at the AIM Championship on Lake Miltona, where he also earned the prestigious Team of the Year title.
In 2022, Tom's impressive streak continued with a 1st place finish at the AIM event on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, a 4th place finish on Mille Lacs Lake, 2nd place finishes on both Leech Lake and Vermilion, and another 1st place win at the AIM Championship in Duluth. To top it all off, he claimed the Team of the Year title once again. Congratulations to Tom on his incredible back-to-back championships!
In 2023, Tom achieved NWT finishes of 2nd, 6th, and 11th, which earned him an impressive 4th place ranking for Angler of the Year. He then went on to secure back-to-back NWT Championships in 2024 and 2025, solidifying his status as one of the top anglers in the sport.
We are thrilled to welcome Tom to the meeting, where he will share his top fishing tips and insights. His incredible success on some of our favorite fishing lakes has us all eager to learn from him.
