Club Meetings & Outings
We host top walleye personalities & tour professionals to speak at club meetings. Meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of the month with the exception of a potential holiday conflict. Club socializing starts at 6:30 pm and the monthly presentation's start at 7:00 pm. We do not Meet in June, July or August. We also host club outings throughout the year to gather and have fun.

We are excited to have John and Ashley Holmgren to speak at our club meeting on Thursday December 4, 2025.
John and Ashley are the dynamic duo behind Devoted Outdoors, who both share a passion for nature and fishing. They have become well-known figures in the angling community, particularly for their expertise in walleye fishing.
John Holmgren
John grew up in the heart of Minnesota, where he developed a love for fishing at a young age. His fascination with walleye fishing began during family trips to local lakes, and he quickly became adept at understanding the behaviors and habitats of these elusive fish. John pursued a degree in Environmental Science, which further fueled his commitment to conservation and sustainable fishing practices.
Ashley Holmgren
Ashley, originally from Wisconsin, discovered her passion for the outdoors through camping and hiking adventures with her family. Her interest in fishing was sparked when she met John during a college fishing tournament. With a background in Wildlife Biology, Ashley brings a scientific approach to their fishing strategies, emphasizing the importance of preserving aquatic ecosystems.
Together, John and Ashley founded Devoted Outdoors to share their love for fishing and the outdoors with others. They offer guided fishing tours, educational workshops, and community events aimed at promoting responsible angling and environmental stewardship. Their engaging presentations and hands-on approach have made them popular speakers at fishing clubs and outdoor expos across the Midwest.
